MI&T aims to become a space where one can experience and learn about:
- the History of Informatics and Telecommunications, as a center for the preservation, research and promotion of these scientific fields
- the History of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens, and the highlighting of the research and educational activities of the Department in all areas of Informatics and Telecommunications
- the emergence of Information Technology as a science and its importance in various aspects of our lives.
